133 "A Familiar Feeling"

I recently picked up Sonic Generations over the holidays (with those Steam sales, how could I not?), and a few of us around the house have been playing it quite a bit lately. After watching Sonic evolve through his lifetime and watching his design change little by little over the years, it's very cool to see a classic version of Sonic in a modern Sonic game. And, especially when compared to the modern Sonic, the classic one just looks like a fat adorable little dude, which I think is actually kind of hilarious.

If you haven't played it at all, it's a great game. It's a great balance of new and old that works really well. I'd go into detail, but I think it would take too long to coherently explain what I want to say if you aren't already familiar with it. Overall, I think it's a masterfully executed Sonic game for this generation. Here's hoping that it's the beginning of a new trend.

So yeah, between indulging myself on Steam games, enjoying the holidays, having guests, dealing with a computer virus, and then getting sick, I lost a lot of time that I didn't really intend to for a while there. I'm hoping to get back on track with updates a bit better again. Wish me luck.
