A while back I picked up Ring Fit Adventure again after having neglected it for several months. "I'll just run through the first couple of levels in the first world to wean myself back in," I said to myself. Doing so entailed perhaps ten minutes of mostly light jogging in place, as this action is what causes your character to move forward in the game. For the next three days, my calves felt so tight that I was more or less waddling around the house. But the game is pretty good when your body is stronger than a boiled noodle.
