"Smooth Operator"

Every now and then I need to do a video game comic. I don?t think I could do it regularly, even if I wanted to, but there will be occasions such as this.
I played through Persona 3 and 4 during the summer, and this comic is based on a scene from the latter. A lot of people give the main character from Persona 4 a lot of guff for being an emotionless tool, but that's only because you're only given an option to select your character's dialog in any sort of seemingly-meaningful way a handful of times throughout the entire game. This scene, if you follow the romance path with this girl, is one in which I thought it to be awkwardly ridiculous due to a lack of dialog options--as this comic reproduces the scene practically verbatim from the game.
Apparently girls dig guys who rarely say anything at all but are just there.
Also, before I forget, if you like silly webcomics and also are a fan of video games (specifically the Metal Gear Solid, Mother, Ace Attorney, or Persona series), you should definitely check out hiimdaisy's Livejournal. Although her sporadic update schedule is enough to rival my own, she creates some of the greatest gaming comics I've ever read. The writing is hilarious, and her art is simple yet very effective.
